The Docks

As he gets up he’s still thinking about the previous evening, he goes to his desk and puts another piece in the puzzle in progress. Then, after his morning bath, he picks up the clothes his going to wear without much thought, combs his hair roughly and ties it in the end.
When he gets to the kitchen his father is already gone, typical and his mother doesn’t say anything as usual. He grabs an apple and goes out, into the cold morning, to another day in university.

As he turns the corner in the docks, he sees a girl, a young girl maybe his age, dirty from working, coming out of a warehouse.
She is beautiful and somewhat appealing not that he notices girls much…
She is running and when she sees him she starts talking in a strange language but he know she is pleading for help.
Suddenly blood comes rushing through her mouth; she starts crying and screaming in pain. After a couple of excruciating minutes she drops dead.
Horrified he feels sick, he tries to stop what was coming with his hand, but it’s to late, his hand gets all dirty and sticky. He is used to see dead people, dead people for god’s sake, not death. He runs back around the corner and as he starts to calm down, his mind starts to work, he goes back to see the body again but it was gone…
